Educação democrática: a revolução escolar iminente, obra do sociólogo Cristian Laval e do psicólogo da educação Francis Vergne retrata a educação democrática como aquela que rompe paradigmas e a partir dessa perspectiva desenvolvem uma série de argumentos que sustentam a ideia do caráter democrático da educação como sendo um dos pilares essenciais para que esta cumpra seu papel principal, qual seja o de transformação social e individual. Para isso, os autores apontam que a educação deve vislumbrar sempre um caráter revolucionário de cunho social, democrático e ecológico. A fim de desenhar tais diretrizes democráticas para o educar, o livro se divide em cinco princípios / capítulos apontadores de uma proposta inovadora tecendo diálogos entre escola e democracia.
