Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran statistik dalam meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah menengah atas. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed-method), mengombinasikan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui angket dan tes, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru PAI. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 guru PAI yang mengajar di SMA negeri dan swasta di wilayah Kabupaten Nagan Raya, serta 30 peserta didik yang berasal dari sekolah-sekolah tersebut. Data dari tes dan angket dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS untuk menghitung statistik deskriptif (rata-rata, standar deviasi) dan inferensial (uji-t, regresi). Data wawancara dianalisis melalui coding untuk menemukan tema utama. Data dokumen hasil evaluasi dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan statistik, meskipun membantu dalam memberikan penilaian yang lebih objektif dan terukur, masih terbatas pada kemampuan guru dalam mengaplikasikan alat statistik yang ada. Sebagian besar guru memiliki kemampuan statistik yang berada pada kategori sedang, sehingga dibutuhkan pelatihan lebih lanjut untuk memaksimalkan potensi statistik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan statistik yang optimal dapat meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran PAI, terutama dalam menilai aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor peserta didik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyelenggaraan pelatihan statistik untuk guru sebagai langkah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar secara lebih efektif.
