Abstract
Num mundo em que as economias dependem diretamente de energia para manter o crescimento e a qualidade de vida de seus habitantes, os países se preocupam cada vez mais com a sustentabilidade e uma expansão da matriz elétrica por meio de fontes renováveis. O objetivo deste estudo é apresentar uma visão da transformação da matriz elétrica do Brasil, destacando o incremento das fontes eólica e solar, e analisar como a atuação da agência reguladora do setor elétrico brasileiro está evoluindo para manter a fiscalização das novas usinas. Na metodologia de pesquisa, foram utilizadas informações do setor elétrico brasileiro e dados geoespaciais de livre acesso, além de informações sobre os subsídios governamentais que fomentam a ampliação dessas fontes. A análise dos dados de expansão da oferta e dos leilões de energia mostra que o Brasil já possui 84,21% de sua matriz elétrica composta por fontes renováveis e que há tendência de alta em função dos incrementos de usinas eólicas e solares. Os resultados evidenciam um crescimento exponencial da energia solar em relação à eólica entre 2011 e 2021, os efeitos dos subsídios governamentais e o uso de informações geoespaciais e inteligência artificial pela agência reguladora para manter as fiscalizações das novas usinas.
