Catherine Bertho Lavenir est membre du comité de rédaction de la RHC. 1 En 2006, l'historienne Catherine Bertho Lavenir, spécialiste des médias et du tourisme, découvre les écrits privés d'Anne Marie Palardy aux Bibliothèque et archives nationales du Québec (BanQ).Elle était alors à la recherche des premiers récits de voyage en automobile en France au début du XX e siècle.De fil en aiguille, elle réalise qu'Anne Marie Palardy a également laissé des carnets, des journaux, une correspondance avec les membres de sa famille, ainsi que des photographies.2Bourgeoise canadienne catholique, grande lectrice, Anne Marie Palardy est la femme de l'industriel français-canadien Alfred Dubuc.Ce dernier fonde une usine de pulpe à Chicoutimi en 1896.Anne Marie Palardy est la dernière fille du médecin de Saint-Hugues, un gros village au sud de Québec.En 1891, elle fait scandale en refusant d'entrer au couvent.Dans les années 1900, après son mariage, elle devient la mère d'une famille nombreuse, marquée cependant par le deuil de plus de la moitié de ses enfants morts en bas âge.En 1914, on la retrouve dans la bonne société londonienne,
