Abstract
Lire Ensemble (Leer Juntos) fue un proyecto de innovación social cuyo objetivo fue apoyar a las familias migrantes en la adopción de prácticas de lectura de literatura infantil. Desarrollado entre 2017 y 2022 en la ciudad de Quebec, Canadá, Lire Ensemble congregó a diversos actores provenientes de la academia, del sector cultural y comunitario, con el fin de fortalecer los vínculos entre los libros y la vida cotidiana, crear puentes entre diferentes comunidades lingüísticas y culturales y resignificar el intercambio intergeneracional e intercultural. Nuestro propósito compartido fue proporcionar a las familias inmigrantes, en especial a los padres de niños de 4 a 12 años, herramientas que les permitieran leer álbumes literarios infantiles en el hogar. El enfoque del proyecto se centró en la realización de talleres en bibliotecas públicas y en un centro de francofonización para adultos, donde los padres alófonos pudieron descubrir la literatura infantil y, lo más importante, adoptar prácticas de lectura subjetivas, sensibles y creativas que ayudaran a reparar las rupturas en la transmisión intergeneracional e intercultural provocadas por la migración.
