Abstract
At the beginning of the last century, there were serious changes in music, whose full understanding became possible only after many years. The fundamentally new aesthetic category of style, reflecting the creative thinking of the early Russian avant-garde musicians, has determined the specifics of the entire musical era. With their experiments, the authors essentially predicted much of what developed further throughout the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Behind this are the names of specific composers, whose work is now beginning to be explored in a new way in the art history field. One of them is M. Matyushin. The article reveals a new milestone in the actualisation of his work in the first quarter of the 21st century in Russia.
