Epistemicídio nas instituições de ensino superior: aplicação da teoria de cida bento “o pacto da branquitude” como estruturante do pensamento crítico decolonial

Abstract
Este artigo, consiste em um recorte da pesquisa de mestrado em ciências que está sendo desenvolvido no Programa de Pós-graduação em Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Pelotas, e objetiva a aplicação da teoria de Cida Bento “o pacto da branquitude”, para estruturar o pensamento crítico decolonial quanto ao epistemicídio que ainda permeia os espaços formativos de ensino superior. Para isso, a teoria foi aplicada sob estudos indexados no Periódicos da CAPES, coletados através de revisão integrativa de Mendes; Silveira; Galvão (2008), no mês de outubro de 2024. Os resultados apontam que o pacto da braquitude e o epistemicidio vem exercendo uma força contraria a permanência dos estudantes negros no ensino superior. Tão logo conclui-se que abordar a evasão dos estudantes negros relacionando a estas teorias é necessário, não limitando-se a estudos de revisão, mas também outras abordagens que possam ouvir in loco esse grupo estudantil e discutir a partir desta perspectiva.
