Abstract
Construction Wood Protection Clay has the adsorption capabilities to accelerate the leaching of wood preservatives. This is problematic for wood decay and fire protection in earthen constructions. Atomic force microscopy and chemical mapping using photoinduced force microscopy of wood show that protective wood treatment is not uniform on the surface. Boron analysis is performed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy. More in article number 2400753, Ouellet-Plamondon and co-workers.
