Abstract
Alors qu’en septembre 2023, l’hommage rendu à un vétéran ukrainien, membre de la 14ème division SS « Galicie », par la Chambre des Communes du Canada, a provoqué une vive et légitime polémique, la présente contribution se propose de remettre en perspective ce cas, tout en revenant sur la politique suivie par le Canada en matière de « criminels de guerre » et de dénazification après-guerre. Dès lors, la mobilisation des nombreux débats à la Chambre des Communes du Canada autour du cas Kurt Meyer entre 1945 et 1960 s’avère précieuse pour saisir les enjeux de cette politique.
