Abstract
A migração, especialmente em contextos involuntários, provoca transformações significativas e pode expor indivíduos a múltiplas formas de violência, resultando em sofrimento psíquico. Este estudo visa identificar e explorar as violências enfrentadas por imigrantes haitianos no Vale do Itajaí-SC. Com uma abordagem qualitativa e exploratória, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas para a coleta de dados. A análise de conteúdo das narrativas, fundamentada na psicanálise e etnopsiquiatria, revelou que os haitianos sofreram violência racial, xenofobia, violência de gênero, violência conjugal e violência do Estado. Os achados oferecem uma compreensão do impacto da violência na saúde mental desses imigrantes, destacando a urgência de políticas públicas culturalmente sensíveis que enfrentem essas questões.
