Pada jalan lingkar selatan terdapat suatu tanjakan yang dimana tanjakan tersebut memiliki kemiringan yang sangat kritis pada alinemen vertikal adalah bagian tanjakan, karena terdapat gerakan arus lalu lintas yang terjadi pada saat inilah yang disebut dengan gelombang kejut (shock wave) yaitu gerakan atau perjalanan perubahan sebuah arus lalu lintas, yang akan melemparkan kendaraan keluar dari tanjakan (gaya sentrifugal). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat Kecelakaan (Black Spot) serta faktor-faktornya di ruas jalan (tanjakan) lingkar selatan kecamatan Labangka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey lapangan. Didapat kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat kecelakaan yang terjadi pada ruas jalan lingkar selatan kecamatan Labangka pada tnggal 30 juni 2022 adalah MD=0 , KB =0 , KR=14. Faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan yaitu karakteristik yang mempengaruhi ruas jalan tersebut meliputi Geometrik jalan, Volume lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan, Kemiringan medan, Penggunaan lahan, Rambu lalu lintas, penggunaan lahan, rambu lalu lintas, kemiringan medan, volume lalu lintas jalan dan kapasitas jalan
