Abstract
Antimins of Nikolo-Perervinsky monastery are considered as things reflecting cultural-historical events of Moscow in the second part of the 18th century – first quarter of the 20th century. As a result of studying unpublished monastic inventory and account books of the 18th – 19th centuries, it became possible to identify documentary the antimins of the Nikolo-Perervinsky monastery, to establish the dates, circumstances of their consecration and replacement the old ones with new antimins, and also to note the color symbolism that cosidered from the second half of the XVIII century the antimins. According to the monastic documents, we found that the validity period of the antimins was determined not only by its wear and tear, but also by its commemorative significance. The source study made it possible to introduce into scientific circulation new data on the veneration of the Moscow Iberian Icon of the Mother of God.
