Abstract
Marguerite est une femme autochtone mise en esclavage en Nouvelle-France et ayant eu recours à la justice pour réclamer sa liberté. Le parcours sonore fait ressurgir les mémoires spatiales et remplit les trous laissés béants par l’écriture dominante de l’Histoire. Accompagnés par la voix de Monnet et de ses invités, les auditrices et auditeurs parcourent en effet les rues d’un Montréal (re)cartographié par le récit de Marguerite. Dans cet article, l’autrice suggère que, par la superposition des temporalités et des espaces arpentés, puis par sa réécriture sonore de l’histoire et la réinscription des corps autochtones et racisés sur le territoire montréalais, Monnet crée une (re)cartographie narrative et féministe de Montréal / Tiohtià :ke / Mooniyang qui ébranle les géographies coloniales qui délimitent, encore à l’heure actuelle, les territoires montréalais, québécois et canadien.
