Abstract
L’Introduction à John Dewey que propose Joëlle Zask s’inscrit au sein d’un regain d’intérêt pour la pensée de ce philosophe, phénomène dont témoignent les trois autres essais du même type publiés chez Gallimard et Vrin au cours des seules années 2015 et 2016. La particularité du court texte de Zask dans le paysage philosophique a trait à sa nature proprement introductive. Dans cette visée, l’ouvrage est centré autour du noyau conceptuel qu’est, dans la réflexion de Dewey, l’interrelation de l’individu et du social.
