Abstract
À partir d’une analyse de corpus filmique, textuel et graphique, cet article entend discuter les différentes dimensions spatiales qui se déclinent dans les oeuvres de la zombie culture depuis les années 1960 ainsi que les frontières qu’elles établissent entre le monde des humains et celui des morts, entre les contextes urbain et rural, entre le cimetière et la ville, entre espace souterrain et espace terrestre, mais aussi, de manière plus oblique, entre minorités et majorité. Les morts-vivants nourrissent d’autres allégories, sociales, cette fois, à travers les ondulations de l’espace (notamment urbain), entre le vide et le saturé de présence, entre l’inclusion/exclusion spatiale des vivants et des morts. Étant très mobiles, ils font saillir, à l’image des vivants qu’ils chassent, un rapport complexe et très déterminant à l’espace.
