Abstract
Dr Barbara Orser is a pre-eminent Canadian scholar, researcher and thought leader in the field of gender and entrepreneurship. As an industry professional, award-winning and highly published academic researcher and Professor Emerita at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, she has made significant contributions to academia and policymaking globally, paving the way for a more inclusive understanding of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, particularly from a policy and education lens. Her work has profoundly shaped our understanding of women entrepreneurship, making entrepreneurship research more inclusive and relevant. Her legacy in the field is significant, and her ongoing contributions continue to push the boundaries of entrepreneurship research, education and policy.
