Abstract
Terjadi konflik penggunaan jalan antar pengguna di perumahan Rukun Warga O4 Kelurahan Kayuringin Jaya, Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Fungsi utama jalan sebagai ruang publik adalah untuk pergerakan masyarakat umum. Di lapangan, jalan digunakan untuk berbagai kepentingan pribadi seperti tempat parkir kendaraan, tempat berusaha, tempat menyimpan perabot rumah tangga, tempat menyimpan pot tanaman, tempat bermain dan berkumpul, dan lain-lain. Telah ada peraturan tentang penggunaan jalan sebagai ruang publik, tetapi warga perumahan belum mengetahui dan memahaminya. Agar mereka menjadi tahu dan paham perlu dilakukan “Penyuluhan Penggunaan Jalan untuk Meredam Konflik Antar Pengguna di Rukun Warga 04 Kayuringin Jaya, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat”. Metode pengabdian yang dipilih adalah penyuluhan. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta penyuluhan tentang fungsi jalan, keragaman pengguna, prinsip penggunaan jalan, dan berbagai contoh konflik penggunaan badan jalan di perumahan melalui perbandingan antara hasil pretest dengan hasil post-test. Dampak yang diharapkan dari penyuluhan ini adalah adanya perubahan dalam perilaku penggunaan jalan di perumahan sehingga dapat meredam konflik antarpenggunanya serta fungsi utama jalan tidak banyak terganggu.
