Abstract
Moralische Werte und Tugenden geraten im Arbeitsalltag angesichts von Leistungsdruck, Konkurrenzkampf und Karrierebestrebungen nicht selten aus dem Blickfeld. Das Erreichen von Quartalszielen und eine über alle Wirtschaftszweige hinweg stark quantitativ ausgelegte Leistungsbewertung führen zu Einseitigkeiten und der Notwendigkeit, die Frage nach einer Führungsethik in der Wirtschaft immer wieder neu zu stellen. In diesem Buch wird die Vielfalt der führungsethischen Konzepte in einer interdisziplinären Sondierung vorgestellt und eine pragmatische Typologie von wirtschaftsethischen Ansätzen, tugendethischen Vorschlägen sowie biblischen und christlich-spirituellen Entwürfen entwickelt. Diese Typologie dient zur theoretischen Orientierung sowie zur werteorientierten Identitäts- und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung von Führungskräften in der Berufspraxis. Ergänzend werden Vorschläge für ein strukturelles Ethikmanagement thematisiert, darunter Wertekodizes, Wertekommissionen und Wertecoachings. <bold>Biographische Informationen</bold> Iris Siara studierte Katholische Theologie an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München und an der University of Alberta in Edmonton.
