Abstract
Si l’expérience de la télévision a pu faire l’objet d’une lecture sociocritique en littérature et si certains auteurs de la postmodernité ont fait valoir l’atmosphère électrique des années 1980, qui coïncident de près avec les enjeux de la Guerre froide, rares sont les études qui mettent en avant l’expérience du corps face au spectacle télévisuel. Cet article entend interroger cet impensé, en partant de la thèse selon laquelle nous assistons, avec la démocratisation de la télévision dans les années 1950, à l’émergence de nouvelles représentations du réel en littérature. En vertu du rôle de l’écran qui consiste à d’un côté cacher, de l’autre montrer, chaque expérience technologique est sous-tendue par la présence du corps vécu. En cela, elle est traversée de chair, de spatialité et d’érotisme.
