Petits établissements ruraux dispersés du Haut-Empire dans la vallée de la Drôme

Abstract
La réalisation de deux fouilles archéologiques successives dans la vallée de la Drôme, celle de Pibous et Cougnes à Die (fouille préventive, 2020) et celle de la Clastre à Piégros-la-Clastre (sauvetage urgent, 2021), a permis la découverte de plusieurs petits établissements ruraux interprétés comme des habitats occupés au cours du Haut-Empire. Ces nouvelles données sur la vallée ont entraîné la réalisation d’un inventaire de ce type de site étudié en fouilles, de mettre en évidence certains éléments constitutifs de la morphologie de l’habitat isolé au cours du Haut-Empire, tout en les replaçant dans le contexte de la recherche archéologique régionale. Sortant du cadre de la thématique des villae, ce contrepoint semble enrichir le débat en partant du postulat que la villa en tant qu'habitat ne concerne pas l'ensemble de la population antique, mais plus vraisemblablement sa frange la plus aisée.
