Abstract
La présente communication se propose de rendre compte de la construction et de la trajectoire d’un objet de recherche à la fois original, stimulant intellectuellement et complexe. Il est question, en effet, dans les lignes qui suivent, des rapports qui peuvent exister entre deux notions - les données et le temps -, qui l’une comme l’autre sont loin d'être univoques. Nous ne traitons pas toutefois directement de tels rapports dans le cadre de cette communication. Nous choisissons plutôt de retracer la genèse de cette problématique et de sa reformulation dans nos travaux de recherche, et de présenter les différentes étapes du double cheminement, épistémologique et méthodologique, qui a balisé notre expérience de construction de cetobjet de recherche. Par la même occasion, nous y aborderons quelques questions et difficultés qui se sont présentées au cours de ce processus intellectuel. Questions et difficultés qui représentent autant de sentiers possibles, sinueux et incertains, que de sauts, en avant, mais aussi en arrière.
