Abstract
Theunissen knüpft an einem Ressourcenbegriff an, der zwei zentrale Aspekte berücksichtigt: Kunst als ein ressourcenaktivierender Prozess und Kunst als ein an Ressourcen reichhaltiges Produkt. Damit lässt sich einerseits das der Kunst immanente Potenzial als Unterstützungsressource nutzbar machen. Das, was Kunst beim Betrachter auslöst (z. B. als symbolische Mitteilung),rückt in den Mittelpunkt, um einer Person vielfältige Erfahrungen zur Selbsterkenntnis, Bildung und Entwicklung ihrer Persönlichkeit zu ermöglichen. Andererseits können die Eigenschaften der Sache Kunst im Rahmen einer bildnerischen oder werkhaften Aktivität als Ressourcen genutzt und zugleich mit individuellen Kraftquellen verschaltet werden, um Lern- und Bildungsprozesse, psychisches Wohlbefinden, seelische Gesundheit oder auch einen Heilungsprozess, zu fördern. Hierzu bietet das Buch eine Fülle, ja Fundgrube an konkreten Anregungen für die (außer)schulische Praxis. Mit aktionsorientierten Aktivitäten, Schwarzlichttheater, Malen nach Musik, einer ressourcenorientierten Theaterarbeit, plastisches Gestalten, pädagogischer Kunsttherapie, Kreativitätsförderung und »offener« Atelierkunst wird das breite Spektrum einer ästhetischen Praxis aufgegriffen und an vielfältigen Beispielen sowie einer faszinierenden Bilderwelt illustriert.
