Abstract
Le présent article s’intéresse à l’intégration paysagère des parcs à thème au sein de leur environnement et, plus spécifiquement, à celle des deux premiers parcs à thème français d’envergure nationale qui se sont implantés à proximité de Paris en réaction au succès du Disneyland Park (Anaheim, États-Unis) : les parcs Mirapolis et Astérix. Au regard des pratiques paysagères du modèle Disneyland Park, nous allons nous intéresser aux stratégies des aménagistes quant à l’aménagement paysager des parcs à thème eu égard à leurs paysages extérieurs. Cette ouverture/fermeture du parc à thème sur l’extérieur convoque les enjeux conceptuels de ces lieux, à savoir l’immersion ou le dépaysement.
