Descriptions of nine measured surface stratigraphic sections of Cambrian to Cretaceous strata in the Northwest Territories part of the Sekwi Mountain map area (NTS 105-P)
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Nine measured stratigraphic sections located in the Sekwi Mountain map area (NTS 105-P) part of the Northwest Territories are described here. These sections include strata that range in measured thickness from several hundred metres, to over two thousand metres, and that range in age from Cambrian to Cretaceous time. Almost all strata measured are Paleozoic in age, and they document lithostratigraphic details of the east to west shelf-to-basin transition of the lower Paleozoic in the Sekwi Mountain map area. One section includes strata from an outlier of Cretaceous siliciclastics contained within a thrust panel of Paleozoic strata in the northeast quadrant of the Sekwi Mountain map area. The contact of these siliciclastics is documented here as a deeply erosional surface with probable deep vadose cavern-fillings within underlying Paleozoic carbonates tens of metres below their upper contact with overlying siliciclastics. Siliciclastic silicified grey shale strata immediately overlying Paleozoic carbonates in this section may be as old as Permian, as suggested by previous workers, or may simply be part of the same depositional event that formed the overlying Cretaceous strata, and therefore Cretaceous in age also.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
