Protecting data in transit (as it travels between client devices, services, or cloud components) is crucial to prevent eavesdropping and man-in-themiddle attacks. Statistics show that organizations employing strong encryption experience significantly fewer data breaches – companies using robust encryption reported 70% fewer breaches than those that did not.
