Abstract
La présente série comprend nombre de statistiques sur les accidents de la route et fournit des données comparables sur les causes, types et résultats des accidents en Europe, au Canada et aux États-Unis. Les données sont organisées par nature d'accident et de son environnement ; accidents sous l'influence de l'alcool; et le nombre de personnes tuées ou blessées, par catégorie ou usager de la route et groupe d'âge. A titre de données de base, des chiffres sur le nombre de véhicules routiers en circulation et les véhicules-kilomètres parcourus par les véhicules routiers sont également fournis, ainsi que des estimations de la population et de sa répartition par groupe d'âge.
