: Dans cet article, nous analysons l’expression du temps au passé entre les dialectes ɛtyɛɛ, ilaalɛ, ityɔɔ et iyaa. Cette étude est procédée par une démarche comparative qui nécessite préalablement une identification de différents éléments qui expriment le temps au passé entre les quatre dialectes. Pour aboutir aux résultats attendus, trois points essentiels font l’objet de cette recherche à savoir : l’identification des marqueurs de temps au passé, la comparaison de ces marqueurs de temps et la répartition des quatre dialectes en groupes et en sous-groupes en fonction des différences et des ressemblances.
