Abstract
L’interdépendance des métropoles avec leurs périphéries périurbaines traduit une relation étroite à l’activité économique. En prenant pour exemple les territoires de la Côtière et de la Plaine de l’Ain situés à l’Est de la Métropole de Lyon, cet article interroge la périurbanisation sous l’angle de la capacité de la représentation politique locale à s’affranchir de la dépendance à l’égard de la métropole. En formulant la proposition théorique de « régimes périurbains ». Ce papier entend caractériser les jeux d’acteurs des territoires périurbains au sein de l’interterritorialité économique dominante des métropoles. Ces acteurs cherchent à constituer un agenda d’aménagement spécifique en tirant parti des agencements institutionnels de l’action publique territoriale, du développement économique et de l’aménagement.
