Abstract
Au coeur des enjeux sociétaux actuels se trouve la question de la reconnaissance sociale des enseignants et son impact sur leur identité professionnelle. Alors que la profession enseignante revêt une importance capitale dans la transmission des connaissances et le développement des individus, elle est confrontée à des défis grandissants et à une évolution complexe. Ce travail explore comment le manque de reconnaissance sociale, amplifié par des attentes sociales souvent irréalistes et des médias représentant la profession de manière négative, influence le bien-être, la satisfaction professionnelle et le sentiment d’efficacité des enseignants. Dans ce contexte, une attention particulière est accordée à la Suisse, à la France et au Canada (Québec). À travers une analyse approfondie, ce travail met en lumière l'urgence de reconnaître pleinement la valeur du travail des enseignants et propose des pistes de réflexion pour renforcer leur statut professionnel et leur épanouissement au sein de la société.
