deviation relative to the pre-iTBS baseline.The focus was on EEG evoked response amplitudes between 15-40 ms post-iTBS, which may best reflect direct cortical pyramidal excitability.Results and discussion: Negative relationships between global evoked responses (plasticity) and PiL and Current-well-being, were significant after active iTBS but not after sham stimulation (Fig. 1).Present findings suggest that individuals with high rates of PiL and well-being are more resistant to externally induced changes/perturbations in cortical plasticity.Such findings may provide a causal mechanistic insight into the neural underpinnings of these psychological constructs.
