Abstract
The article deals with the editions of Sylvester Kosov’s work on the seven sacraments of the Church. The work is known as «Didaskalia» or «On Sacraments or Mysteries of the Church». The work was written in «Mova», a colloquial language of the 17th century, in the form of questions and answers. In the bibliography there are inaccuracies in the attribution and description of these editions, mainly due to the poor preservation of the copies. Nine editions from 1637–1716 are considered. Two of them have not survived. Bibliographical clarifications are made about the edition (Lviv, 1642) and the translation into Church Slavonic (Kyiv, 1668). It is concluded that the edition (Chernigov, 1716) is not based on the work of Sylvester Kosov, but on the catechism (Kiev, 1645; Chernigov, 1615).
