Abstract
The aim of this paper is to research the moderating effect of government technology support on the relationship between innovation strategy and first-to-market product innovation. The innovation strategy is particularly influenced by government technology support, exerting a substantial influence on the firm’s product innovation. To empirically investigate this relationship, we analyse small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within Korea’s manufacturing sector. As a result, the empirical findings consistently indicate that government technical support is positively correlated with first-to-market product innovation. However, the moderating effect of government technical support shows a negative relationship between innovation strategy and first-to-market product innovation.
