Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In many areas of the territory of Russia inthe period 1996-2023, therewas a significant increase in the flows of total solar radiation coming to them - the main source of energy supporting their hydrothermal regime. The consequence of this wasan increase in the risks causedby the occurrence of landscape fires, the most significant ina number of regions of Yakutia, the Krasnoyarsk Territory andthe Irkutsk region. Inthe interannual variations of the fluxes of total solar radiation entering some areasof the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, the opposite trends prevailed. In the same years, the North Magnetic Pole was rapidly approaching the territoryof Russia, which suggeststhe existence of a connection between the mentioned processesand its movement. To achieve this, the locations of the Earth's surface areas relativeto the pole, where for one or another segment of the period 1997-2024 were studied. For a period of 14-28 years, the average monthly fluxesof total solar radiation for a given monthof the fire season increased significantly and steadily. Also, among them, areaswere identified where the interannual changes in the studied fluxes were significantly associated with variationsin the fluxes of cosmic rays entering the Earth's atmosphere, the amplitude of which is maximum near the pole. Such sites for May and Junewere found not only in the Arctic zoneof Russia, but alsoin the forest territoriesof Yakutia, the Irkutsk Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions belonging to Siberia and the Urals. Forthe months of the second halfof the fire season, the studied areas were also identified on the European territoryof Russia. With further movement of the pole along the same trajectory, an increase in fire risks is likely in the identified areas due to weather conditions, which shouldbe taken into account when planningthe development of the relevant groupsof GPS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
