Abstract
We read with interest the recent publication by Ormseth and colleagues on ambulatory blood pressure (BP) and its association with immune activation in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).1 The authors concluded that despite similar office measurements, 24-hour and nocturnal systolic BP measurements were higher in patients with RA than in control participants and were strongly associated with inflammation.1
