Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. Loneliness is a condition where an individual feels that their social relationships aren’t as expected. In emerging adulthood phase, loneliness becomes a factor that worsens the quarter life crisis (QLC), where the demands and anxiety of social relationships are one of the main causes. This study aims to determine the role of loneliness on QLC in emerging adulthood in Bandung City with N = 409 respondents. This study uses a quantitative causality design, with convenience sampling techniques and questionnaires distributed online. The measuring instruments used were the UCLA Loneliness Scale 3 adapted by Ramadhani (2023), with reliability value of 0.931 and the QLC-Scale measuring instrument adapted by Afandi et.al (2023) with reliability value of 0.913. The results of the simple regression analysis test showed that the calculated t-value was 9.209> t-table 1.966, which means that there is a positive influence between loneliness on QLC with an R2 value of 0.172, which means that 17.2% of loneliness affects QLC in emerging adulthood in Bandung, while 82.8% influenced by other factors. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the higher the level of loneliness, the higher the level of a person's QLC, and vice versa.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
