Abstract. The construction of Patimban Port in Pusakanegara District, Subang Regency, as one of the National Strategy Projects (PSN), has had a significant impact on the socio-economic conditions of the local community. This study aims to identify social and economic changes that occurred before and after the construction of Patimban Port. Using the before-after method, T-test and qualitative descriptive, this study combines primary data from questionnaires and interviews with secondary data from supporting journals. The results of this study indicate that the construction of Patimban Port has a positive impact in the form of increased job opportunities, increased economy, increased access to easy facilities such as health facilities, education, and transportation, and increased regional development. There are negative impacts caused by the construction of Patimban Port, such as the conversion of agricultural land and ponds, shifting livelihoods, increased air pollution, and lack of empowerment for farming and fishing communities. This study recommends that training and community empowerment be held for those affected by the construction of Patimban Port and improved air pollution management. Abstrak.
