O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a relação entre “os sonhos” e o processo de subjetivação neoliberal (Dardot; Laval, 2016) contidos nos princípios, conceitos e métodos dos componentes curriculares Projeto de Vida (PV) e Pós-Médio (PM) vinculados ao Programa de Educação Integral da Paraíba. A pesquisa, com abordagem qualitativa e de caráter exploratório, adotou como técnica a análise documental e bibliográfica. Os achados foram analisados a partir da Teoria do Discurso (Laclau; Mouffe, 2015). Os sonhos dos estudantes foram identificados a partir do questionário “Acolhimento 2023/Qual é o seu sonho?” aplicado por profissionais da rede pública estadual paraibana e tabulados por especialistas da Secretaria de Estado da Educação (SEE). Os achados deste estudo indicam que PV e PM são, ao mesmo tempo, princípios educativos e componentes curriculares. Enquanto princípio, o PV constitui-se como um ponto nodal na estrutura discursiva do modelo paraibano. Esses componentes curriculares atuam no sentido da produção de sujeitos empresariais a partir do desenvolvimento de habilidades comuns ao funcionamento de empresas privadas. A definição de sonho restrita à aquisição de bens materiais, assim como a ênfase no futuro profissional, também fomenta o consumo e atua no sentido de responsabilizar os e as estudantes pelos seus respectivos sucessos ou fracassos, sendo características pelas quais é possível evidenciar um processo de subjetivação neoliberal.
