Abstract

Objetivo: Investigar a associação entre o Desenvolvimento Motor, as oportunidades motoras presentes no ambiente domiciliar e fatores socioeconômicos de lactentes expostos à sífilis. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, exploratório e quantitativo. Participaram da pesquisa 57 lactentes expostos à sífilis. Os instrumentos utilizados foram uma ficha de avaliação, o questionário Affordances in the Home Environment for Motor Development Infant-Scale e a Alberta infant motor scale. Para a relação entre o DM, os aspectos socioeconômicos e as oportunidades motoras foi utilizado Coeficiente de Correlação de Spearman. Resultados: A escolaridade paterna, brinquedos de motricidade grossa e a pontuação total do AHEMD-IS apresentaram correlação com o DM. A escolaridade paterna também correlacionou-se com a pontuação total da AHEMD-IS, a renda familiar com a disponibilidade de brinquedos de motricidade fina e a escolaridade materna com o espaço físico domiciliar. Conclusão: As oportunidades motoras no ambiente domiciliar e a escolaridade paterna estão associadas a melhor desempenho no DM, assim como, a escolaridade paterna também está relacionada a melhores oportunidades motoras.
