Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยทดลอง ที่ใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยแบบกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการเจริญสติต่ออาการปวดเข่าในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อม โดยใช้แนวคิดการเจริญสติของ Kabat-Zinn (1990) กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อมจำนวน 70 คน ที่เป็นสมาชิกในชมรมผู้สูงอายุ ในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 35 คน และกลุ่มควบคุม 35 คน จับคู่ในด้าน อายุ เพศ ค่าดัชนีมวลกาย ชนิดของยาแก้ปวด ความถี่ของยาแก้ปวดที่ได้รับ และประสบการณ์ในการเจริญสติ ซึ่งกลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการเจริญสติเพื่อบรรเทาอาการปวดเข่าในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อม ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมกลุ่ม 5 ครั้ง และรายบุคคล 3 ครั้งรวม 8 ครั้ง ห่างกันครั้งละ 1 สัปดาห์ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุม ได้รับกิจกรรมตามปกติของชมรมผู้สูงอายุ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลอง ได้แก่ โปรแกรมการเจริญสติเพื่อบรรเทาอาการปวดเข่าในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยใช้แบบประเมินระดับอาการปวดชนิดตัวเลข (Numeric Rating Scale: NSR) และแบบประเมินภาวะข้อจำกัดจากอาการปวดเข่า (Western Ontario Mcmaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index: WOMAC Scale) ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ 1.0 และมีความเที่ยงแบบวัดซ้ำเท่ากับ .78 และ .99 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหา ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1.อาการปวดเข่าของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อม ภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการเจริญสติ ต่ำกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการเจริญสติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2.อาการปวดเข่าของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อม ของกลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการเจริญสติ ต่ำกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับกิจกรรมตามปกติของชมรมผู้สูงอายุ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
