In the modern urban environment, well-modeled utilitarian lighting is the key and basis not only for the safe movement of drivers and pedestrians, but also for the comfort of residents living in buildings whose windows overlook the roadway and the opportunity for citizens to spend time in courtyard areas and use indoor sports grounds, children's play objects. Thanks to computer-aided design and modeling of lighting installations, it is possible to take into account multifactorial lighting conditions and create a comfortable lighting environment that meets the requirements of luminous urbanism. At night, an illuminated city not only creates a beautiful view of urban objects, but also ensures the safety of the movement of pedestrians, vehicles and other means of individual mobility. In modern conditions, various specialized CAD systems are offered for designers of utilitarian lighting.
