Abstract
The article analyses the influence of the Hans Island dispute resolution on Canada-Denmark relations. It starts with the description of the dispute background to reveal its origin. The article looks at the geographical position of the Hans Island, describes the economic structure of the Arctic and the characteristic of Canada-Denmark relations, addresses the factors promoting the resolution and examines the conditions of the resolution to forecast if this conflict may resume in future.
