Abstract
The 15 taxa of Chalcidoidea treated as incertae sedis relative to family placement are discussed and diagnosed. Phylogenetic analyses have not been able to place these taxa in any of the recognized chalcidoid families, and they are treated separately and unplaced to family to streamline the diagnoses of taxa that can be defined with greater certainty and clarity, and to call attention to obscure taxa that need further research. The taxa discussed are the subfamilies Asaphesinae, Austrosystasinae, Callimomoinae, Ditropinotellinae, Enoggerinae, Keryinae, Micradelinae, Neapterolelapinae, Parasaphodinae, †Phtuariinae, Storeyinae, and the genera †Aspidopleura, Eopelma, Jambiya and Rivasia.
