Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This article aims to present part of the study that led to the formulation of the concept "teacher generates teacher". The text has a theoretical framework that discusses teacher training focused on Youth and Adult Education (EJA, in Brazil). The research had the participation of 4 English teachers from Rede CEJA, who studied Languages at Faculdade de Formação de Professores of Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro; in order to understand their formative processes and the challenges they face in their daily work at EJA. With the analysis of the data, through thematization, the research showed that the training processes of these teachers are dynamic and go beyond the formal courses they seek to attend. It also was evidenced that they learn mainly in the collective, exchanging information and experiences with colleagues, which supports the conceptual statement “teacher generates teacher”, which will be presented in detail.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
