Abstract
Este trabajo es un anuncio del proyecto de edición de unas cartas inéditas de Ángel de Saavedra, Duque de Rivas, escritas durante el período en el que el escritor ejerció su cargo de embajador en Nápoles, entre 1848 y 1857, hasta que tuvo que incorporarse a la embajada en París. Al interés de estos textos como testimonios del contexto político de ese momento, ha de sumarse su valor en el conjunto de un epistolario conocido relativamente escaso en un autor de su importancia.
