Abstract
En recourant aux « styles de raisonnement scientifiques » de Ian Hacking, cet article tente de démontrer qu’il existerait une rupture intellectuelle forte entre l’analyse spatiale et le « tournant culturel » tels qu’on les a pratiqués dans la géographie économique anglo-américaine au cours de ces quarante dernières années. Chacun de ces styles comporte ses propres critères de vérité et créée son propre champ d’investigation. La comparaison directe de l’un et l’autre et leur intégration sont de ce fait très difficiles. Un moyen qui permette d’aller plus loin serait l’utilisation de l’idée de « zone d’échange » de Peter Galison.
