Abstract
El presente artículo expone la implementación de cuatro Guías de Buenas Prácticas Clínicas (GBPC) de la Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) en un módulo disciplinar de segundo año de la Escuela de Enfermería de la Universidad de Talca, Chile, durante el año 2023, siguiendo el modelo educativo basado en competencias. Las GBPC fueron: 1) Valoración y manejo del dolor, 2) Prevención de caídas y disminución de lesiones derivadas de las caídas, 3) Valoración del riesgo y prevención de lesiones por presión para equipos interprofesionales y 4) Acceso vascular. Estas guías fueron un insumo valioso para las/os estudiantes al momento de sustentar sus cuidados en las experiencias clínicas, obteniéndose, en promedio, un indicador de logró sobre el 90% de uso de las recomendaciones de las GBPC seleccionadas.
