Abstract
During a post-publication review, we identified an error in Figure 2 (“Characteristics of adipocytes”), in which the images depicting white and brown adipocytes were inadvertently switched. Specifically, the image labeled as ‘white adipocytes’ corresponds to brown adipocytes; the image labeled as ‘brown adipocytes’ corresponds to white adipocytes. The correct Figure 2 is shown below, and the figure legend remains unchanged. This correction does not affect the scientific conclusions or data interpretation. We sincerely apologize for this.
