Abstract
This photo was taken during one of the mobility forum activities held at the Ateneo de Manila University.This photo is a snippet of everyday life at the corner between Aurora Boulevard and Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. With a perpetual construction site on the left and the road(s)to the right, the actual corner on which pedestrians are forced to traverse is so narrow that only one person can turn at it at a time.The experience of walking here is marred even with the odor of street life-the stench of urine, the smoke from idle engines, and the occasionally freshly cooked peanuts sold by peddlers.In the edited photo used on cover, red lines are utilized to symbolize the child's suspended movement, reflecting the general condition of Metro Manila as a (mega)city when it comes to mobility.
