Le travail dans le champ de la formation des enseignants se numérise et l’accès facilité aux intelligences artificielles génératives ouvrent de nouveaux possibles. Les transformations induites sont analysées en se référant à la situation d’un établissement qui s’est engagé dans un projet visant à inscrire la formation continue des enseignants dans une perspective de Lifelong learning. Cette contribution montre l’utilité de problématiser les transformations induites par l’activité technique en recourant à une approche stieglérienne. Cette problématisation nous pousse à prendre en compte le développement tant sur le plan des individus (cette approche met en garde contre l’abrutissement de l’individu), des collectifs (cette approche met en évidence le risque d’individualisme lorsque la technique isole les individus et court-circuite ou contraint les processus de délibération collective) et des techniques (cette approche permet de penser l’appropriation des techniques par les individus et les collectifs pour qu’ils puissent rester capables de participer à la définition de l’environnement qui structure leurs pratiques). À partir d’un cas portant sur une formation de master, cette contribution met en évidence comment cette problématisation permet d’orienter la conception de situations de formation dans une perspective de Lifelong learning.
