Upcycling Industrial Biomass Waste This cover image demonstrates an innovative method to upcycle unrecyclable biomass waste, such as food packaging and rejected fibers, into high-performance aerogels using zinc chloride salt hydrate. The process eliminates the need to separate impurities, which instead enhances the aerogel's mechanical and thermal properties.
